Birkerts. Bibliotēkas. Gaisma.
No 2025. gada 18. janvāra līdz 2026. gada 26. septembrim Latvijas Nacionālajā bibliotēkā (LNB) skatāma izstāde “ Birkerts. Bibliotēkas. Gaisma .” Gunāra Birkerta (1925–2017) simtgadei veltītā izstāde ļauj iepazīt izcilā latviešu arhitekta dzīvi un radošo darbību. Starp daudzajām sabiedriskajām ēkām, ko Gunārs Birkerts projektējis, īpašu vietu ieņem bibliotēkas – tām veltīta šī izstāde. Izstādē iekļautas 19 Gunāra Birkerta projektētās bibliotēkas – LNB ēka un 18 bibliotēkas

Today, a portrait of the former Rector of the University of Latvia , Professor Indriķis Muižnieks, was unveiled in the Senate Hall of the University of Latvia, where it now joins the gallery of portraits of other ex-Rectors.
